Happy Schools

Upgrading 1,000 schools to Happy Schools to curtail student dropouts in India in 2016 - 17.


The objective of the Happy School Programme is to provide/upgrade the infrastructural and co-scholastic facilities in govt or govt aided schools, to make them secure, attractive and happy learning places for students and teachers, to prevent drop outs.


RILM through Happy School program has converted 1505 schools into Happy School.


22 Govt./ Govt. Aided schools were adopted and converted into Happy Schools in Bangalore by CREDAI.

10 Govt./ Govt. Aided schools were converted into Happy Schools in Bangalore by Suprajit Industries.

Aircel along with Rotary Centenary Charitable Trust funded 50 schools, covering places like Chennai, Coimbatore and Pondicherry. Components were covered for this project- (i) Construction of Toilets, (ii) Construction of Hand Wash Station, and (iii) Maintenance of Toilets.

Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) was one of the funding partners for Happy School Campaign.
